Testing and Tagging

Every business must ensure a safe working environment, as such our electrical testing & tagging services ensure that equipment is safe for staff or visitors who operate equipment.

Our services include the testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment in offices, factories, laboratories, workshops, classrooms, construction areas, temporary locations, manufacturing areas, retail sales offices, stairways, car parks and more.

Our technicians consult with you on the frequency of electrical testing required as per the AS/NZS 3760 Standard and the type of work environment you are in.

Equipment is visually inspected and tested with a portable appliance tester. If the equipment passes it is fitted with a durable bar-coded tag along with showing who tested it, the test date and when the next test is due. If a test fails, we consult with you to work out a cost-effective resolution.

For office environments, it is recommeded to test & tag your appliances every 12 monhts. Industries such as construction, demolition and mining are required to have their devices tested and tagged every 3 months. For factories, warehouses and production environments, it is recommended to test and tag your devices every 6 months.
